Tube Hill open for Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend!

The Mt. Hood Skibowl Tube Hill will be open for the Thanksgiving Holiday!

Cosmic Tubing® season opening this Friday and Saturday.

With early season snow and our state of the art snowmaking equipment, Mt Hood Skibowl has been able to make more than three feet of snow on our Skibowl east tube hill, allowing for the earliest opening ever for tubing two weekends ago on November 15^th, 2014.

The Snow Tube and Adventure Park at Skibowl East will be open Thanksgiving Day through Sunday, November 30^th, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The opening includes the tube hill conveyor lift, two story Indoor Play Structure and the Multorpor Lodge. Full food service is available in the lodge with the Multorpor café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; and the 70 Meter Bar and Grill featuring gourmet burgers and custom drink specials.

Cosmic Tubing® kicks off the season this coming Friday and Saturday from 5:00pm to 11:00pm. The world’s first and only, Cosmic Tubing is like day tubing on steroids with colored lights, rocking music, laser shows, DJ nights and fireworks every third Saturday starting in December. Experience an entirely new way to have fun on the snow. 100 new, neon, four person tubes have been added to the tubing fleet. 200,000 LED lights and a new laser light show have been added as well to make the experience out of this world.

Join us for some holiday fun with the following events:

Santa Claus will be visiting Mt. Hood Skibowl December 13, 14, 20 and 21 from 11:00am – 2:00pm. Head to the Snow Tube & Adventure Park at Skibowl east and let Santa know what you want for Christmas. He will be visiting the tube hill, and then setting up shop in front of the cozy fireplace inside the Multorpor Lodge. There will be picture taking opportunities and treats for the kids.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the best party on the mountain. Skibowl will celebrate 27 years of its legendary midnight fireworks extravaganza with a host of events; including skiing-riding until 2:00am, fireworks at Skibowl West and East at midnight, Cosmic Tubing until midnight, a torchlight parade down the Lower Bowl, live DJ’s, multiple beer gardens and much more.
