Earliest opening for Summer activities ever!

If you can't beat em', join em'! Skibowl is opening the lifts for the Alpine Slide, Mt. Biking, Disc Golf, Malibu Raceway and much more!

Yes, we know you all want to go skiing and snowboarding, we do too! But we can't control mother nature. What we can do is give you everything else possible at this unheard of early date. The Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl is having it's earliest opening ever!

Our summer activities will open this Saturday, March 21, 2015 (weather permitting) from 11:00am to 5:00pm daily through Sunday, March 29th. Cosmic Tubing will be open every night starting this March 20th through March 28th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday (weather permitting).  Here is a list of all the open activities:

SKIBOWL WEST:

The lodges on both sides will be open, including the Beer Stube, Starlight Cafe, Multorpor Cafe and the 70 Meter Bar & Grill. Check out the HUGE retail sale in Guest Services while you are here. "Collins Mix" will be rocking out classic tunes at Skibowl west from noon to 4:00pm at the Outback Courtyard. This is free to all visitors to Skibowl!

As a last note, even though it is getting late in the season, IF we get two feet or more of snow, we WILL re-open the lifts for skiing and snowboarding. Hey, you never know!

Saturday Night Lights... Fireworks Show

WHEN: Saturday, March 21st  (8pm Fireworks)

Come kick off Spring Break with the Saturday Night Lights firework show on Saturday, March 21sth from 6pm to 11pm.  Cosmic Tubing will be rockin' at the Snow Tube and Adventure Park.  The DJ will start at 6pm and the fireworks will go off at 8pm. Don't miss the last festive celebration of the season! Located at Skibowl East at the tube hill.

It's time to dig deep in the garage, pull out that mountain bike and put air in the tires - Yes, the mountain bike park at Skibowl will open this Saturday with the Lower Bowl and Upper Bowl lift from 11am to 4pm. Bike a bit squeaky? Hurricane bike shop in the west base area can get you back up to speed. Trails open will be dependent on the weather.

Everyone's favorite mountain activity is back in action! The Alpine Slide will be open March 21st and every day during spring break (weather permitting). New this year is the 30' rock climbing wall and bungee trampolines located at Skibowl west, near the bottom of the slide. Try your climbing skills in-between slide runs!

Racers start your engines! The Malibu Raceway is ready for action. The track features three different style cars, with the high-powered Malibu Race Karts, Virage Indy Karts and the Sprint Karts with wheel to wheel action!

Mt. Hood Adventure has dusted off the water toys and are now renting kayaks and paddle boards! The road to Trillium Lake is open and it is a great time of year to experience the sounds of spring in the mountain. Let us do all the work and deliver/pick-up the boats for you - just show up and have fun!
Mt. Hood Adventure, located in the Ratskeller building in Government Camp, is also providing guided hikes to local lakes and waterfalls. Come see us to find out where the best place to take a hike this spring.

The Ratskeller Bar & Pizzeria was voted the “Best Après Ski Bar” in Oregon by readers of the Oregonian. Located in the heart of Government Camp, the Ratskeller offers great pizza, daily specials and is the place on the mountain to catch all the NCAA basketball tournament games. The band "Collins Mix" will be playing this Saturday  (3/21) from 8pm to midnight. Some good old fashioned rock and roll.

Hungry? The High Mountain Café, also located in the Ratskeller Building, has the best sandwiches in Government Camp. Let the kids have some fun in the Ratskeller Arcade next door while you enjoy a cold beer with your meal. The Café is open daily 8am – 6pm, until 8pm on Saturday
