Powder Alert: For Thursday, November 13th

It's showtime folks!  The first Powder Alert of the 2014-2015 season.

A cold storm arrives over Mt. Hood Skibowl and the North Cascades around daybreak Thursday.  Snow will continue all the way through late Thursday night.  For the first time this season we'll see a snow base grow that isn't going anywhere!

How much?

8-12" in the 24 hours from Thursday through Friday morning.

Amounts should be the same both top and bottom since the snow level will be below Gov't Camp.

Some freezing rain or even ice pellets will mix in too, so if you're driving up there tomorrow to check it out be careful!

The next chance for snow will be late next week.   But with the cold temperatures expected again over the weekend, snowmaking will add more to the base.

Think Snow!
