POWDER ALERT: Sat-Sun Jan 11-12th

Biggest Snow Storm of Season This Weekend!

Will it be enough to totally open up Skibowl?  Stay tuned!

The details:

Cold front moves across Cascades sunrise Saturday, snow level immediately drops down to 4,000'.  Then drops further down to 3,000' by afternoon.  Strong west wind jams heavy snow into the Cascades from midday through Sunday afternoon.  Heaviest snow will be Saturday afternoon and evening.  Near-blizzard conditions at times with the wind...drive carefully!

  • 14-18" is likely at Skibowl Base Area & Gov't Camp by Sunday afternoon.
  • 18-24" on the Upper Bowl by Sunday afternoon, a drier snow Saturday night and Sun A.M. too

That will be it for snow for awhile as we return to a dry and mild pattern through next week.
