Mt Hood Skibowl is excited to announce the opening of the Mt Hood Adventure Base Camp, a brand new Express Rental and Service location, located right on Highway 26 in Rhododendron.

MHA Base Camp is designed to make it easy for skiers and snowboarders to either pick up rentals or have their own equipment sharpened or waxed. MHA Base Camp is utilizing the latest in equipment rental software that will allow users, once they are in the system, to call ahead and have their equipment set up for a quick and hassle free express pick up. Avoid the lines of rental shops at the ski areas - wouldn't it be nice to be able to hop out of the car and head straight for the slopes? And no trudging through snow or wet socks, you are just a step away from your car when you rent with us!

As well, MHA Base Camp invites high school, PACRAT, or USSA racers to take advantage of our hours to drop off their skis after training days or nights and have them edged or waxed in time to race the next day. This will help racers maintain their competitive edge! Currently MHA Base Camp provides edge tunes and hot waxes, but as our business grows, there are plans to expand our service offerings.

Forget some vital equipment on the way up? MHA Base Camp has a great assortment of apparel and accessories, including hats, gloves, and goggles. MHA Base Camp also has a great stock of snowshoes for rental as well.

As an extension of Mt. Hood Adventure in Government Camp, MHA Base Camp also has a great stock of snowshoes for rent as well. Get set up before you get in the snow and don't worry about a thing!

Monday - Tuesday: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Wednesday - Friday: 8:00am to 9:00pm

Saturday: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Sunday: 7:00pm - 6:00pm
