Hope on the Slopes returns to Skibowl for the sixth year in a row, raising awareness and funds to fight cancer.
Hope on the Slopes, Ski & Ride for a Cure is a fundraising event for skiers and snowboarders, held at ski areas around the country. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society (ACS), and support their mission to eliminate cancer as a major helat problem through prevention, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service.
This weekend the event comes to Mt Hood Skibowl. Dozens of teams will compete to see who can ski the most vertical in 24 hours, starting Saturday March 8th at 10:00am to Sunday March 9th at 10:00am. Prizes will be awarded for the most vertical feet and most funds raised. Join your fellow skiers and boarders as you track your vertical feet and enjoy a day and night on the mountain with friends and family.
Event activites include: Live bands with a Dj pumping out tunes in-between; Card run; Scavenger Hunt; Superhero Contest and a kids competition.
