Santa Claus is coming to town!
Join Mt. Hood skibowl and the town of Government Camp, Saturday evening December 20th in the middle of town, right next to Huckleberry Inn. Santa will arrive on a special fire engine from the Hoodland Fire Department. The festivities start at 6:00pm as the switch is flipped and the town Christmas tree is lit up in all its splendor. Santa will be available for the youngsters to tell him what they would like for Christmas. Donuts and hot cocoa will be on hand provided by Huckleberry Inn. Sign up for a romantic horse drawn carriage ride through town. Call Mt. Hood Adventure at 503-715-2175 to set up a reservation.
Need to warm up during the ceremony? Hop into the Ratskeller building and enjoy a hot mixed drink or adult beverage, or let the kids try their hand at Skee Ball or any other of the games in the classically equipped Ratskeller Arcade. Redeem the tickets you earn for great prizes! If you forgot that essential piece of clothing like gloves or a hat, Mt. Hood Adventure is sure to have everything you need to enjoy the outdoors in winter. Sign up for a snowshoe tour, cross country tour or a snowmobile tour while you are there. Visit the Mt. Hood Adventure website to see all they have to offer.
Merry Christmas!
