Kick off Oregon’s Spring Break with a blast Saturday March 25th with pond skimming, the “Suds on the Slopes” beer & spirit tasting festival , a hot dog & pie eating contest, the “Goggle Tan Rail Jam” and much more at Mt. Hood Skibowl for the 16th Annual Snow Beach Festival.
Bikinis, beach balls, pink flamingos and Hawaiian shirts will take center stage for the Pond Skimming Contest where high-spirited contestants bravely attempt to cross the freezing water. Clearing the icy water is not a requirement to win, and dramatic crashes and costumes all help score points. Awards and prizes will be given out in categories of best crash, best costume and best style. 12:00pm to 2:30pm
The "Suds on the Slopes" beer & spirits tasting is legendary in providing some of the best micro-brews and spirits in Oregon for tasting. Always drink responsibly! There will be a ton of give-aways and fun contests throughout the day. 11:00am to 6:00pm
Stuff your face at the hotdog eating contest! Prizes to the person who eats the most of each! 11:00am - 11:30am. Hot Dogs not your thing? Try our pie eating contest at 3:00pm to 3:30pm.
The Goggle Tan Rail Jam will once again be held on the West Rope Tow and put together by our awesome terrain park crew. Show that you have the best spring goggle tan! There wil be prizes galore! 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Head over to Skibowl east and catch the last Saturday night lights firework show of the year! The fireworks go off at 8:00pm.
