On February 14, 2013, Mt. Hood Skibowl, America’s Largest Night Ski Area will host singles on the slopes in honor of Valentine’s Day with chairlift speed dating.
Single skiers and snowboarders are in for a thrill this Valentine’s Day at Mt. Hood Skibowl. It is a perfect chance of finding that perfect someone with the same interest, skiing and snowboarding. Dedicated lift lines at the Lower Bowl chair, one for “single men” the other for “single women” will pair couples for the ride up. The chair ride will provide an opportunity for individuals to become acquainted.
The intimate ride will set the stage for a speed date to the top of the mountain. If you decide you are a match made in the mountains, you can escape to the historic Mid-Mountain Warming Hut. The middle of the mountain location is ideal to engage in a romantic setting in front of a roaring fire. You may also speed down the mountain in a chase for a second chair lift date with others.
In addition, you can romance your new date with an excellent menu from the Beer Stube. A variety of wines, cheese fondue and chocolate covered strawberries will be available to set off the romantic evening.
The Valentine’s Day singles speed dating at Skibowl runs from 3:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday, February 14th. Since every Thursday is “College Night” at Skibowl, college students with proper ID will receive ½ off of an adult night lift ticket.
