The fun never stops at Mt. Hood Skibowl!

Ring in the New Year in style with the biggest party on Mt. Hood.  Mt. Hood Skibowl will celebrate 26 years of its legendary fireworks extravaganza December 31st, 2013.

The fun starts at noon with music DJ’d by iHeart Productions and continues until 2:00am.  This is followed by donut, hotdog and hot wing eating contests, two terrain park rail jams, a torch light parade and two firework displays at midnight.  Ski and ride on the West Rope tow and Parking Lot Rope Tows until 2:00am, and Cosmic Tube at Skibowl East until 1:00am.

There will also be Sumo wrestling competitions, winter fun games like ‘Pimp my snowman’ and ‘Giant Jenga’, multiple beer gardens and a glow in the dark dance party that starts at midnight.  Top winners will be awarded prizes and there will be plenty of giveaways throughout the night.

The Beerstube Bar and Starlight Café will be open until 2:00am serving food and your favorite beverages.  Equipment rentals, tuning and repair and The Olympic Skibowl Ski School will be open as well.

The Snow Tube and Adventure Park will be open with normal tubing from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and the world’s only Cosmic Tubing will operate from 6:00pm to 1:00am.  Enjoy Cosmic Ziplining, Frosty’s Playland, the huge indoor Super Play Zone and a DJ from iHeart productions spinning your favorite party tunes.  Food and beverages will be available inside the Multorpor Lodge with the 70 Meter Bar & Grill featuring gourmet burgers and the best hot drinks on the mountain.

Across the highway in Government Camp, the Ratskeller Bar & Pizzeria will be hosting live music.  The band “Aisle Of View” will be playing their own jazzy Reggae style.  The Ratskeller will be open until 2:00am.  The video arcade upstairs featuring redemption and video games will be open until midnight.
